EATURED SPEAKER: David Diamond

Chief Operating Officer, Tourtellotte

David Diamond is currently Chief Operating Officer for Tourtellotte Solutions with responsibility for all business operations within the firm. Tourtellotte Solutions is a global leader in supply-chain software for the pharmaceutical, retail, and consumer goods markets. If all goes well by the time of this meeting, David will be the CEO of Company X, focused on the retail supply chain.

Prior to Tourtellotte, Mr. Diamond was the co-founder/ COO of Amperion Inc, a Broadband Over Powerline (BPL) / Wireless firm and before that, Diamond was Managing Director of Redleaf Group Boston, a seed stage investment firm.

Prior to Redleaf, David was General Manager, Corporate Technology Planning for GTE and later for Verizon, where he helped develop Verizon’s Technology Strategy and led the technology portion of the Bell Atlantic/GTE merger transition and planning. He entered this role from BBN where he was General Manager for Emerging Business Operations, charged with spinning businesses out of BBN technology developments.

Previously, Mr. Diamond served as President and CEO of MicroE Defense and Aerospace (MEDA), a start-up firm in Natick, MA, and before that spent 16 years in senior positions in the Dept of Defense.

David serves on several Boards and was featured on the cover of Fortune Magazine as an internet-savvy operations executive in the summer of 1999.

David Diamond holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and a BS & MS in Electronic Engineering from Monmouth University. He also holds a master’s degree (MBA) in the Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
